May 12 – May 18
20/52
Our week started with my second Mother’s Day. Thank you for making me a mother. Thank you for being my daughter. A million times thank you for everything that you inspire me to do every day.

We shared ice cream here last year, too.
Enjoying a neighbor’s back yard.

Violet, who did that? “I dunno!” you exclaim, deliciously devious smile upon your face.

May 5 – May 11
19/52
Sick toddlers spend days inside wiping snot and paint on their faces (and many of their other parts too)

April 28 -May 4
18/52
“Wi-wet dwinging! Dwinging in da wap!” Violet swinging, swinging in the wrap!

Who is this big child who requests a pillow? Who sleeps with blankets? Who asks for a big girl bed?

Unassisted down-the-stairs. I admit, I had to hold my breath to keep from leaping across the yard to you.

April 21-27
17/52
Warm weather and soft grass make evenings a pleasure (until you don’t want to come inside…)
Refueling at the mall after a busy busy morning.

April 7 – April 12
“Wi-wet’s ‘tar” – a ukulele at David and Dori’s…

Spring weather again! Outside playing with bubbles…

And splashing in a “puddle” that you found. A full change of clothes followed. Good thing you’re washable too!

March 24-30
Building with Mama. “Oh NOOOOO!”

After spending enough time around other kids, you eventually your shyness fades away and you become a screaming, running, arm-flailing toddler. And I love it.

March 17 – 23
“If Mama and Daddy have sunglasses, then I should have glasses too.”

Ultra Violet!!! (In honor of Downs Syndrome/Trisomy awareness day on March 21st.) V is my XXXtra special little love ![]()
